Pre Hockey

This class is a pre requisite to Intro to Hockey offered to new skaters ages 4 and up. These sessions are an open enrollment in a class format. This class will focus on proper technique at the most fundamental level working on forward and backward skating, turns, and more. Please read the following criteria before enrolling.
Pre hockey will focus on Levels One and Two.

Minimum equipmet required: certified hockey helmet and hockey skates.

Intro to Hockey

Please note that this is not a “learn to skate” class but a learn to play hockey class. Any children needing to develop their skating fundamentals should contact our Skating School Director vbetolatti@trumporg.com to arrange and register for PRE HOCKEY. This class is designed as a group format with a number of stations and coaches prepared to teach young players the skills needed to eventually move up to league play. We follow USA Hockey’s ADM model and we constantly evaluate the players throughout the season for the possibility of moving them to other stations and or directly to our in house teams. It is a proven winner for both boys and girls looking to get their start in ice hockey. Success is achieved by building their confidence and motivating them through fun and instruction in a positive environment.

FULL HOCKEY EQUIPMENT REQUIRED.
JERSEY AND SOCKS ARE PROVIDED.

  • Participants should have their own equipment. Equipment available for seasonal rental. Please consult Director with any questions.

  • Lasker Rink & CPIH have a no refund policy.
  • All parents MUST READ and CONFIRM the Parent Creed. Not doing so will not allow you to register your child this season.

  • 10% discount if registration is received between 8/1/12 and 9/4/12

  • Enroll one player at full price.

  • Enroll third player at 15% off.
