Private Lessons - All Ages


Lasker Rink Skating School's professional coaching staff and visiting coaches feature individuals with US National medalists and International competitors. We have specialists from a wide variety of diverse backgrounds offering expert training techniques from basic foundation skills and edge technique to pairs skating, ice dancing, Moves-in-the-Field, choreography, and jump-and-spin technique.

Adult and youth private lessons are available for both recreational and competitive skaters. Whatever your interest in skating, we have a specialized coach just for you.

  • Private Skating Lessons
    • Individual instruction may be the best way to master your skills on the ice with confidence. Our coaches are dedicated to making sure skaters learn the proper skating technique, as well as make skating a fun and safe experience for everyone. Pre purchase a package of 10 private lessons, save $5/lesson and book a standing weekly time with your favorite Lasker Rink coach.

      10 pack of 30 minute private lessons: $500 + $25 registration fee
      (60 minute private lesson packages also available)
      Package includes: Free of charge rental skates if needed, 10 pre scheduled private lessons, weekly standing coach, no charge of ice time on day of lesson.

  • Semi-Private Skating Lessons
    • Sometimes it's nice to skate with a friend! Semi-Private lessons may be booked by planning a package with another parent/skater and then calling the skate school desk. Semi Private lessons include ten consecutive semi lessons and two private lessons per skater (in case of scheduling conflict with other skater).

      10 pack of 30 minute Semi-Private lessons: $350/each +$25 registration fee
      (60 minute shared private lesson packages also available)
      Package includes: Free of charge rental skates if needed, 10 pre scheduled shared lessons, 2 makeup private lessons each in case of scheduling conflict between skaters, weekly standing coach, no charge of ice time on day of lesson.

  • Group Lesson Supplement
    • If you or your child is currently enrolled in group lessons and interested in one on one training with a coach, purchase the "Booster Lesson Bundle". Package includes two 30 minute private lessons with the Learn to Skate coach that you are currently assigned to. Perfect for the skater who needs an extra push. (includes admission and skate rental fees if taken on same day as group lesson.)

  • One-Time Private Lessons
    • Whether you are just visiting or are new to the area, we offer one time private lessons for you or your child. Book 24 hours in advance to secure a spot. Walk-In appointments are booked on a space available basis.

      Private: $55/ 30 minute lesson
      Semi Private: $80($40 each)/30 minute lesson
      (not including skate rental or admission)
